Cookie Policy

This page details what cookies and local storage (localStorage) WashMas.app uses, what each one is for, how long they're kept, and whether they're necessary for the site to work or only run if you give us your consent.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. "Local storage" (localStorage) serves a similar purpose, storing data directly in your browser without an automatic expiration date. We treat both the same way in this policy, even though they're technically not identical.

Necessary vs. analytics

We distinguish two types:

• Necessary or technical: essential for the site to work correctly (for example, remembering your cookie choice, or verifying you're not a bot when submitting a form). These don't require your consent because, without them, the site couldn't provide the service you requested.
• Analytics: help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These only run if you accept the cookie notice — if you decline it, none of them are installed.

This site doesn't use advertising or social media cookies.

Cookies and storage we use

• washmas_cookie_consent (cookie on the .washmas.app domain)

  • Provider: WashMas.app (own)
  • Type: Necessary
  • Duration: 1 year

  Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don't ask again on every visit. It is shared by washmas.app and the WashMás web app (dashboard.washmas.app), so you only choose once.

  Note: After that we ask again.

• ph_<project key>_posthog

  • Provider: PostHog (analytics)
  • Type: Analytics: only if accepted
  • Duration: 365 days

  Anonymously identifies your browser (visitor and session ID) so we can analyze how the site is used.

  Note: PostHog also stores additional data (active feature flags, configuration) in your browser's local storage, with no fixed expiration.

• Anti-spam verification

  • Provider: Cloudflare Turnstile
  • Type: Necessary
  • Duration: Not published

  Checks that whoever submits the demo or guide form is a person, not a bot. Not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

  Note: Cloudflare doesn't publish a single cookie name or duration for the standard widget mode (the one we use here doesn't enable its "pre-clearance" mode, the only case where they document a specific cookie) — see the Turnstile privacy policy.

• Cal.com's own cookies

  • Provider: Cal.com (third party)
  • Type: Necessary / functional
  • Duration: Set by Cal.com

  Only run if, after requesting a demo, you choose to book a call — the booking widget loads from Cal.com's own domain inside the page and manages its own session cookies to complete your booking. We don't control these.

  Note: Set by Cal.com — they don't publish specific names or durations for their embedded widget. See their privacy policy.

Change your preferences

You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time, with this button or with the "Cookies" link in the footer of any page. If you decline after having accepted, we delete the analytics cookies already stored.
